Hi – we are Erika Lindberg, Sierra Jones-Vassos and Rhea Singer, and we are the founders of Tailored Toronto.
Toronto brought us together. While we have different interests, different hobbies and different passions, we were brought together by one common piece: Toronto.
Our eclectic city is filled with history and offers something for everyone. However, the current tourism industry does not necessarily acknowledge the varying interests of those visiting or exploring our bustling city. Generic tours often overlook the quirks or hidden gems people might be hoping to see. Different interests and passions influence the side of the city someone might want to explore, and we believe people let those interests and passions guide them.
Erika Lindberg
Erika grew up just outside of Toronto and later moved from one area of the city to another. She has explored every corner and has uncovered the most eccentric city hubs. She spent a large part of her childhood traveling, also visiting 14 different countries around the world. Having toured different cities and explored her own, she wants tourists to feel they have the power to craft their own tours and explore areas that truly speak to them.
Rhea Singer
Rhea was born and raised in Ottawa and only moved to Toronto at 18 years old. Her first ever exposure to the city was as a tourist. She saw the city through a visitor’s lens and only later discovered the hidden treasures throughout the city. She learned from her experience as being a tourist in her own city that there is far more to the city than what is commonly offered.
Sierra Jones-Vassos
Sierra grew up just outside of Toronto. She lived in the suburbs, and later set off to travel the world, visiting 15 countries across the globe. She has seen the world through the eyes of a tourist and has experienced the good and the bad. She knows what tourists want and knows what they need. Typical tours, in her experienced opinion, do not serve them.
